Each category opens with a brief description of the needlecraft.  Within each section of this site, you will find a guide to the necessary sewing supply and tools needed for each needlecraft, how-to-sew information along with practical tips, and a sewing machine guide with a troubleshooting reference.  We have also included an extensive term and abbreviation glossary to help you better understand your new creative endeavor.

• Quilting - The process of securing three layers of a quilt together with small running stitches.
• Embroidery - A form of needlework used to embellish clothing or fabric.
• Crochet - This craft involves using a hook to join loops of yarn into fabric.
• Knitting - Creating fabric by interlacing yarn in a series of connected loops using straight eyeless needles or by using a knitting machine.  To bring or bind together as to knit.                 
• Needlepoint - A form of embroidery where canvas mesh fabric is stitched with yarn.
• Cross-stitch - An embroidery stitch where all the stitches are formed by crossing over each other. As in an "x".
