Read these important knitting instructions before you begin:

  • Wash your hands before you begin.  The lighter colors can become dirty and dingy looking if hands are not clean.
  • Keep your work away from children and pets.  All your hard work could be destroyed very quickly.
  • Protect your work in a plastic bag or in a knitting bag or basket.
  • Make sure you read the instructions entirely before you begin to make sure you understand your project.
  • Never stop working on your project and leave it for long periods of time when you are in the middle of a row.  This can cause the yarn to pucker.
  • Never break the yarn with your hands.  This could stretch the yarn.
  • Always keep and store the directions with your project to keep from misplacing them.
  • When you are knitting, position yourself somewhere comfortable that has good lighting.  A table by you so you can place all your tools there.

Site Dedication:  "I would like to dedicate this site to  my mother.  I remember watching her as a child in amazement at the creative things she would make.  I Always hoped that I would be as talented as she.  If it were not for her, I would have not had the interest in becoming involved in crafts or the drive to involve myself in things that allowed me a sense of pride and accomplishment.   Crafting has taught me patience and peace within myself.  What a wonderful feeling to create something with your own hands."    Love you mom -- V.
